On Monday the 8th of April fashion designer Ronald Kolk handed over a beautiful scarf he exclusively designed for the Health Promoters to H.H. Princess Anita of Oranje-Nassau, Van Vollenhoven. Furthermore Dr h.c. Harold Robles, co-founder of the Health Promoters, celebrated the fact that he had been active in humanitarian aid for fifty years.
Place of action was Wittenburg Castle, that selflessly took part in the event, as well as various artists including Karin Bloemen, Mariska van Kolck, Lou Prince and ID-DJ Entertainment. Former police spokesman Klaas Wilting was Master of Ceremonies. The dinner was attended by 160 people.
The Health Promoters inform underprivileged people in South African townships about the importance of hygiene for good health. Still, thousands of people, especially young children, die every year from diseases that could have been prevented by sound hygiene.
